Hendrick's, for instance, recently launched by William Grant in selected top-end bars within a few American States, has achieved this by including cucumber and rose. 'What we wanted was not obscure botanicals for the sake of it. We came to cucumber and rose as particular flavour notes which enhance the gin drinking experience, and which are appreciated by gin drinkers. Cucumber gives a freshness to the spirit whilst the rose notes add a hint of sweetness," says William Grant business development director Heather Graham.
